[trendy]

i've suddenly acquired a second mattress. bed feels so high now with 2 mattresses on it. not that it's relevant to FL weather, but it heats up, so that's pretty cool.

also looking at pictures like these makes me really want to change my room's decor. it's been pink & green and super flowery girly to the max for 8 years now.

If you were to change the decor, what would you change it to?

i'm torn between a lot of ideas. a part of me wants to have a black & white paris theme. part wants to paint all the trees from Dr. Seuss's The Lorax all over the walls and make it even more colorful. and then there's the thought of doing the walls with swirls inspired by van Gogh's Starry Night painting and hanging like... that net fabric along the ceiling like this, but not particularly over the bed, just around.

all of those sound super cool, actually! the five year old in me votes a dr. seuss mural all ovver your walls, but the starry night one sounds so nice and relaxing and I would love to sit in my bed and just stare at it all day.
